The mission of The Golden Peak can be summed up as promoting the well-being of elderly individuals and\/or those experiencing a loss of autonomy who live at home through community services. These community support services address needs that are not typically met by the healthcare and social services network.<\/p>\n

The Golden Peak also encourages the involvement of the natural and community networks with elderly individuals and\/or those experiencing a loss of autonomy by providing support and training to those who make up these networks.<\/p>\n

Despite the targeted clientele mentioned in the first paragraph, in its broad sense, our mission is to provide both light and heavy housekeeping services, as well as caregiving and accompanying services, to the population of Pontiac and the municipality of Pontiac, regardless of family situation, age, or income. The professional contribution of The Golden Peak and its thirty home support workers aims to promote aging in place, prevent family disruption, and maintain or enhance optimal individual and social functioning for both individuals and families.<\/p>\n
